Сад ме Љуба мало постидео што сам био лењ да лепо и детаљно напишем поступак.
Због оних који имају потешкоћа с енглеским, покушаћу сад да преведем то што је Љуба написао.

From ANY view, press the MENU key twice, to access the "tabbed Main Menu", then press the RIGHT cursor key until the Setup tab is selected.
At the VERY TOP of that setup tab, you SHOULD see the "Units - Depth" and the "Units - Temp"
Use the cursor keys to move down and up through that Setup tab items, and SELECT the DEPTH first, and see if you can CHANGE it

Из било ког приказа, притиснути тастер MENY два пута, приступити главном менију (tabbed Main Menu), затим кликнути курсорски тастер ДЕСНО (RIGHT cursor key) све док се не појави картица за подешавање (Setup tab).
На самом врху требало би да видите "Units - Depth" и "Units - Temp".
Помоћу курсора кретати се доле и горе кроз опције подешавања, изабрати прво дубину (DEPTH ) и променити на жељен начин приказа.

OK, kontam Engleski, i sutra za drugi dan praznika rada, pre roštilja (a možda i kotlića) idem na lađu da isprobam  Ljubino potencijano rešenje. Javljam šta se desilo... kgk

George:
Isprobao Ljubino rešenje, ali bezuspešno. Pritiskom na MENU taster, samo šalta opcije iz menija, među kojima kao što rekoh nema opcije za prebacivanje jedinice mere za dubinu. Prilažem i sliku sonara.

У упутству за овај модел, на страни 29. пише:

Reset
The final Option is Reset. With so many User Options available to customize the Wide Paramount, it is
easy to configure the unit in such a way that it is detrimental to a particular use. By using the Reset
function, all variable or user-controlled features of the Wide Paramount are returned to the factory
settings.
The Reset function is an important first step in trouble-shooting problems to ensure that a user selected
setting is not the cause for the perceived problem.
Use the ARROW buttons to highlight "Yes" and the unit will return to factory settings. After making the
selection, press MENU to end Options and return to normal operation.

Колико видим, то је последња од опција и каже да кликом на "Reset" врши се враћање на фабричко подешавање уређаја.
Како је код вас било подешено да јединице приказује онако како то треба по Међународном систему јединица, претпостављам да би враћањем на фабричка подешавања могли то опет да добијете.

Pa upravo se tada javio problem, kada se samovoljno resetovao, I vratio na fabrička podešavanja, pa od tada ne poznaje "metre". Posle sam pokušavao I ja da ga resetujem, ali sve uzalud.
